    1. Is it really arthritis?
When a pet that has been behaving normally has a sudden onset of "limping," does it mean that arthritis has set in? To answer that question, you have to consider just how suddenly it appeared.
    2. Pet Obesity & Arthritis
We have discussed the importance of weight control for pets who suffer from arthritis. There is no question about it. It is a major issue and we have to understand not only the importance of keeping pets "trim" but how to do it.
    3. Cardiovascular Benefits Using Glucosamine for Pets
By now, you should all realize that using liquid glucosamine, exercise and diet all play a role in assisting your pet with their arthritis. However, there is another aspect to using the right product that many of you likely have never considered: namely, it can have cardiovascular benefits.

Aging Dogs and Arthritis

By J. R. Rogers

Over the years, I have written many articles about dogs and the almost inevitable consequences of hip dysplasia and arthritis that goes with aging. And, I have consistently recommended that even younger dogs be given the benefit of a high—powered liquid Glucosamine. We know what Syn-flex® is capable to doing and it is a small investment to make for giving your dog a better chance in dealing with joint pain problems.

How quickly do dogs age?

This chart gives you a quick reference point:

Dog age                      Human Years

1 year                          12 years
2 years                        24 years
3 years                        28 years
5 years                        36 years
7 years                        44 years
9 years                        52 years
11 years                      60 years
13 years                      68 years
15 years                      76 years

Small versus large dogs

We know that larger breed dogs are more prone to arthritis and hip dysplasia. And, it is also interesting that younger dogs age more slowly than medium and larger breeds after they reach the age of five (5).

And, we all know by now that humans can have arthritis and joint pain at all ages; it follows that dogs have the same problem. So, when you look at this chart it gives you some reference as to what (they) are dealing with.

My suggestion is still a good one

I have always said that Syn-flex® liquid Glucosamine is a great “protective and preventive” product even for younger pets and when viewing the “age relationship” to humans, it makes sense to give it to them when they are young. It helps them keep cartilage healthy and pain under control.

See you next time.
